In 1886, a group of workers at Royal Arsenal started a football club. They name it Dial Square. Shortly after that, it was renamed Royal Arsenal and Woolwich Arsenal. People usually call it Arsenal for short.
Arsenal is one of the top teams in England. In 1893, it became the first team in southern England to join the football league. It holds many records in English football, like the record of longest uninterrupted period in English football League and the one remained unbeaten across 38 matches. Domestically, it has won 13 Premier League titles and 10 FA Cups. However, it hasn’t won any international trophy till now. The best result it achieved is to having reached 2006 UEFA Champions League Final.
Arsenal‘s home jerseys has been bright right shirts and white shorts for most of its history. It plays home games in Emirates Stadium since 2000.
